Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about the free score, the certificates, and the optional on-chain steps — in plain language.
What is the free score and what does it measure?
The free score is a single 0–100 number for any Web3 target (wallet, token, NFT contract or website). It fuses two independent measurements: Web3 presence & technical quality (60%) and post-quantum readiness (40%). The same target always produces the same score — the engine is deterministic and public.
Is it really free? Do I need an account or a wallet?
Yes, the analysis is free and requires nothing: no account, no login, no wallet. Just paste an address or a URL and press Analyze. Your wallet is only needed for the optional on-chain steps (registration and SBT), which you sign yourself.
What can I analyze?
Any EVM address — a wallet, a token (ERC-20), an NFT collection (ERC-721/1155), a DEX or bridge contract — on Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain or Avalanche (the network is detected automatically from the address), plus any website URL. The report shows what the target is (asset profile), where a wallet holds native balances across networks, and its market data for NFTs.
Why two components — Web3 SEO and post-quantum?
Visibility and security are the two questions every Web3 project faces: is it visible and well-built (SEO side), and is it prepared for the quantum era (cryptography side). Combining them gives one honest number instead of two confusing ones. Each component is broken down in the report so nothing is a black box.
Is the score an audit? Is it financial advice?
No. The score is informational: a deterministic assessment over public data. It is not a security audit certification, not a solvency guarantee, and never financial or investment advice. Always do your own research before interacting with any Web3 project (see the disclaimer in our Terms).
How do I register my score on-chain or mint the SBT?
Self-serve, from your own wallet. After the analysis, follow STEP 1 (on-chain proof) to register the certificate hash on Polygon, BNB Chain or Avalanche, and STEP 2 to mint the soulbound badge if your score is ≥ 70. You review and sign every transaction and pay the network fee — no intermediary, and no custody of your funds.
How can anyone verify my certificate?
Each certificate carries a deterministic attestation hash (keccak256). You can verify it by checking the JSON, re-running the same target (the score is deterministic), inspecting the on-chain registration in the explorer, or opening the IPFS-pinned copy when you pin it. The PDF explains the verification steps.
Can I analyze ENS domains or Solana addresses?
Today the public analyzer accepts EVM addresses and regular URLs. ENS (.eth) resolution and Solana support are on the roadmap — when they land, they reuse the same engine and the same report format.
Why did my score change between two runs?
The engine is deterministic, but some measurements read live data (network state, market stats, site headers). Scores are cached briefly for stability, and if you register on-chain, the registered score becomes the permanent record even if live data moves later.
Is my data private? Who is behind this?
Analyses use public data only; we hold no accounts and no personal history (see the Privacy Policy — short version: no trackers, no data selling). StygiaScore is an independent, unfunded project — if the score is useful, a share helps keep the free tier alive. Questions? Use the contact page.
